The Transportation Redevelopment and Interconnectivity Network Service Plan (T.R.A.I.N.S.)
Our roads are congested.
Our trains are over-crowded.
The subway fares keep going up.
New Yorkers deserve better. Only Charles Montgomery Burns has the grand vision to solve these systemic problems.
The Transportation Redevelopment And Interconnectivity Network Service plan (T.R.A.I.N.S.) promises to reduce traffic and pollution throughout the city while making the subway system function better at a fraction of the cost by moving trucks off our streets and their cargo onto our train tracks. Turning just 20% of our passenger cars into freight and cattle cars will take as much as 80% of the truck traffic off our highways and streets, making the air cleaner and driving fun again.
Moving the transportation of bulk goods and livestock under our streets will give the MTA the fiscal boost it needs to maintain its rail network, provide better service, and slash the subway fares down to a nickel, where they should be.
All straphangers agree, Burns is on our side!
